Who's Attending

Grace Hanson

Grace serves as Elysian's Founder and CEO, bringing deep experience in both US and global commercial property and casualty insurance. Her tenure as Chief Claims Officer at AIG, Allied World, Homesite, Hiscox, and Hippo provided her with a panoramic view of the challenges facing claims professionals, particularly the administrative workload that detracts from strategic, human-centered tasks.

Grace's philosophy is rooted in the belief that technology should empower, not replace, claims professionals. Her vision for Elysian is to harmonize AI and human expertise, creating a system that is both machine-driven and human-empowering.

Steve Rodriguez

Steve oversees Elysian's TPA services, bringing deep senior leadership experience running claims operations for carriers, programs, and self-insured entities. His perspective is grounded in what it takes to build and manage a claims operation that performs at scale, delivering consistent handling quality across a complex, high-volume portfolio while maintaining the accountability that carriers and program managers expect from a claims partner.

Julia Houk

Julia brings more than 25 years of experience across the commercial insurance and risk solutions landscape. Her career has spanned both the carrier and vendor sides of the industry, covering national TPA business development, custom workers' compensation program brokerage, and key account management. This breadth of perspective gives her a complete picture of how carriers, brokers, and risk managers evaluate their partners and what they actually need from a claims partner.

Julia also serves as a member of the 2026-2027 WSIA Insurtech Committee.

Zack Moy

Zack serves as Chief Technology Officer at Elysian, leading the technical strategy and continued development of the Claim Conductor platform. He has spent 15+ years working on one of engineering's most demanding problems: how to give structure to unstructured information so that expert decision-makers can act on it accurately and at speed. He began his career at Google before co-founding Pattern, an enterprise platform acquired by Workday, where he went on to serve as Director of Engineering for Workday Extend, building developer infrastructure used by some of the world's largest organizations. He later co-founded Afterword, growing the platform to serve tens of thousands of users across North America. At Elysian, Zack's engineering experience meets its most consequential application yet.

Dylan Hanson

Dylan is Elysian's Founding Engineer and Product Manager, overseeign the technical development of Claim Conductor across agentic systems architecture, applied AI integration, and the full product stack. Before Elysian, Hanson built high-throughput data infrastructure and AI-powered document intelligence at Bloomberg, and conducted applied AI research in collaboration with Columbia University. He holds a B.A. in Computer Science from Vanderbilt University, where he graduated first in his class in the College of Arts and Science.
